The polluted air enters the settling chamber, where, due to an initial increase in volume, it loses speed so that the heaviest particles settle in the hopper and then in the waste collection bin.
The air flow, now composed only of the lightest particles, passes from the outside to the inside of the cartridges where they remain trapped, so that only purified air exits the filter outlet.
Counter-current cleaning ensures a long service life for the filter elements: compressed air injected into the sleeves detaches the particles deposited on the outside of the filter elements, thus keeping them in excellent working order at all times.
